Summer camp of the Junior Paleontologist in Germany – 7 days

Description

An adventure among fossils, dinosaurs and nature in the heart of Germany!

Junior Paleontologist summer camp in the Altmühltal Nature Park (Bavaria), for boys and girls aged 10 to 14: digging in real fossil quarries, visits to museums and dinosaur theme parks, workshops and nature. Participants are always accompanied by three or four Giunone Soc. Coop. staff members, with a van following the group.

The fee includes

• 7 days and 6 nights in dormitories or bungalows with 4/5 beds and private bathroom, separated by gender
• 7 lunches (packed lunches possible), 6 breakfasts, 14 snacks, 6 dinners
• Junior paleontologist kit (backpack, hammer, chisel, brush, documentation) and camp T-shirt
• Continuous presence of educators/staff
• Registration fee and insurance
• Transfers from the accommodation to the activity sites and back on all days of the camp

Not included

• Return flight from Italy
• Airport–accommodation transfer (included only for those travelling with the staff)

2027 dates (indicative)

• Turn 1: from Sunday 1 to Saturday 7 August 2027
• Turn 2: from Sunday 8 to Saturday 14 August 2027

Dates may change by one or two days depending on flight prices, as flights are not included in the fee. We book the group flight from Cagliari for all families registered by February 2027 and confirm the final dates at that time. Those who register later adapt to the flights already booked, or arrange their own travel.

Required documents

A document valid for travel abroad for each participant; an accompaniment declaration for children under 14 (to be drawn up at the Questura); parental consent for entry and stay in Germany. The camp is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants.
